How to brew:

Add 1-2 teaspoons per cup to a tea pot or strainer, then steep in freshly boiled water for 3-5 minutes. It also makes a yum ice tea. To make, follow the hot brew method but let it cool. Add in ice cubes and some fresh halved strawberries.

The story:

Jemma brooking is the brain behind Teaology. She started out as a fallow coffee lover but decided it was time for a change. Tea was the answer, with all its nutritional benefits like increased hydration, reduced caffeine and natural vitamins. She loved the range of flavours and could see how different blends can be beneficial to peoples health and well-being.

"My first mug of tea was iced with a squeeze of lime; It was the colour of red wine and loaded with a rich berry flavour; when I woke in the morning my skin felt like I had been given a facial in my sleep - I was hooked!"

Teaology teas are sourced through member organisations of the Ethical Tea Partnership (ETP). The ETP is a not for profit membership organisation that exists to improve tea sustainability, the livelihoods of tea workers and farmers, and the environment in which tea is produced, with fair compensation, health, housing and childcare.

This unique tea brand had many different blends. We chose "Kiwi and strawbs" to be our June discovery. This wonderful bold and full-bodied fruit and her tea combines kiwifruit, strawberry and apple pieces, with rosehip and hibiscus petals. The “Teaology” of these ingredients suggest they are, full of antioxidants, vitamins and are caffeine free. Each natural ingredient brings different health benefits from skin care, to an immunity boost. The flavour is refreshingly fruity and sweet, with a zingy aftertaste. The colour is a bold red and its very fragrant, with fruity aromas as soon as brewing starts.
